Championship Guide

Permanent Titles -

Any goat placing first in its class will gain points toward a permanent Champion title. At the end of Show season points will be tallied and the goat with the most points in each section will claim Champion, if there are two goats joint on points they will both be awarded the title.

The Junior Champion (JunCh) title will be awarded to one male and one female under 1 year of age.

The Yearling Champion (YCh) will be awarded to a Buckling and Goatling with the most points.

The Champion (Ch) title will be awarded to one male and one female goat over 2 years of age.

The Senior Champion (SenCh) title will be awarded to one male and one female over 5 years of age.

The Grand Champion (GrCh) title will go to the Goat with most points out of all the classes in one show season.

 

Points Score system— 1st Place—5 ~ 2nd Place—4 ~ 3rd Place— 3 ~ 4th Place—2 ~ 5th Place—1

Points will be awarded based on the goats age at the beginning of show season.

 

So if for example your goat is under 1 year at the first sanctioned show of the season and gains points in both kid and yearling classes it will be awarded junior champion not yearling at the end of the show season.
